a work in progress; for now, have a villanelle (below) and a short story:
"I want to gobble words"
word exorcisms ('journal entries' of sorts; not actually coherent)
"What I found off the Path"

The Boy Who Lived on the Sun (a novelette)
~
Curtain falls, the night shuts down,
The light of your eyes flicker like an oscillating moon,
Suspended, I sink like a puppet to the ground.
I once dreamt up a whole world from a single noun,
Gold dust stars bled sore into the roof of my skull,
Curtain falls, and the night shuts down.
You drift in and out of the daylight like a shroud,
Words a sigh on my skin, wearing a gossamer gown,
Suspended, I sink like a puppet to the ground.
You hold my strings in your nimble fingers,
Lips sealing mouth, moulding each escaping sound,
Curtain falls, and the night shuts down.
Each vowel coalesces in the palm of my hand,
The sentence sunken, a forgotten fairy mound,
Suspended, I sink like a puppet to the ground.
Still, silent, your smile revolves like an omniscient frown,
Searing like suns into the hollow bones of my desert noon,
Curtain falls, and the night shuts down,
Suspended, I sink like a puppet to the ground.
